RLC Weekly: Introducing RLC Weekly

May 26, 2023

Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to the Regional Leadership Council’s (RLC) first edition of RLC Weekly! This e-newsletter will summarize the work the RLC is doing to deliver the Investing in America agenda by identifying key funding opportunities from the American Rescue Plan, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the CHIPS and Science Law, the Inflation Reduction Act, the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the Honoring Our Pact Act, and many others, implementing these programs, and informing the American people about how these laws will give folks the tools they need to Make It In America.

Together, the Regional Leadership Council and House Democrats are working to ensure Americans nationwide are feeling the impacts of the highly productive 117th Congress. Check out this newsletter and watch this video to see House Democrats in action:

During Infrastructure Week 2023, the RLC met with U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm to discuss the implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act. The meeting centered on how these laws are creating programs and initiatives like the Domestic Content Bonus to create new jobs, save Americans money, and help the U.S. fulfill its climate goals. We look forward to continuing to work together to ensure that these programs and policies reach Americans as quickly and efficiently as possible. Visit the RLC’s Resources Page to get up to speed.
